Toyota Celica ST165 Group A Intercooler
EXCHANGE UNIT
In the early days of rallying, teams went to any lengths possible to get the edge over their competiors. This including bending the rules when and if they could.
So it may come as a shock (or not) to know that the ST165 used a bigger intercooler in competition than the road car, albeit, appearing OEM.
As these cars are still used in competition and getting on a bit, the cars still equipped with “GRP A” intercoolers are getting tired.
We take your original intercooler (standard is fine) to reuse the top and brackets and remake it into a “scrutineer friendly” unit for cars racing in classic rallies with the bigger core as per the competition cars.
With reproduction decals and painted the correct RAL colour we’ve not had any instances of refusal.
